Property Description

Located in the southernmost tip of the Peak District National Park, the Oak Holiday Cottage offers an excellent accommodation option for those who feel the need to spend some time in the beautiful Derbyshire countryside. With a totally unique construction flavour, Oak cottage will appeal to those with a love of all things Gothic. The cottage itself is a renovated farm structure that has been converted into a luxury self catering option as a part of the Paddock House Farm Holiday cottage complex. The master bedroom offers a breathtaking view across the Manifold valley and the large church style windows are a treat to behold. As with the rest of the Paddock House Farm Holiday Cottage family, the Oak cottage has a fully equipped kitchen, a luxury lounge with all the media options you’ll need for a short but eventful break in the Derbyshire countryside. The second bedroom has twin beds and has ample storage space as does the master option. There is a bathroom with shower over the bath and toilet, the additional separate WC allows for added privacy and convenience this cottage would suit a small family or two couples with room to spare. As part of the Ashbourne’s self catering cottage group, you will be centrally located to enjoy a huge amount of nearby activities and attractions as diverse as the West Midlands Safari Park and Alton Towers. There is also plenty of cycling, walking and abseiling options thrown into the mix and the farmers market and countryside pubs are also there for those a little longer in the tooth. This accommodation is available all year round and would appeal to anyone who needs to be reminded of why this part of the Peak District National park is so revered. You can also combine your stay at Hazel Cottage with the other five Paddock House Farm Holiday Cottages and they’ll accommodate a total of 40 guests for a group break that you’ll never forget.
