Paddock House Farm Self Catering Accommodation Ashbourne

Derbyshire is a great place to spend your holiday and the Paddock House Farm Holiday Cottages in the Peak District National Park is a great base to explore the many attractions there. The Holiday Cottages are located in Alstonefield village near Ashbourne, which itself is a popular tourist attraction. Located on a spacious grounds with abundant greenery, you will find life at the holiday cottages a great experience by itself.

Self Catering Accommodation

You won’t have to go out every time you want to eat. The cottages come with self-catering facilities such as a country kitchen with electric oven, microwave, fridge / freezer, electric kettle, toaster and full sets of crockery and cutlery. You can eat your food at dining areas in the cottages or on outside picnic benches in the garden. Also offer outside barbeque facilities.

Accommodation for different Sized Groups

There are six cottages with varying accommodation from a privacy-preferring couple to a group of ten people. We look briefly at each of the six cottages.

Beech Holiday Cottage

The Beech Holiday Cottage has three bedrooms with a four-poster double bedroom and two twin bedrooms. A lounge with a luxury bed-settee provides additional sleeping accommodation. The cottage features an open coal fire and a large country kitchen.  Originally, it was a large farm manager cottage.

With an additional bed settee in the downstairs twin bedroom, the accommodation capacity can be increased to ten persons.

Ash Holiday Cottage

The Ash Holiday Cottage also features three bedrooms including a four-poster double bedroom, open coal fire and a large country kitchen. It has a sitting room with a bed settee and can accommodate up to eight persons. All the rooms are at ground level which is convenient for the elderly and other persons with movement-handicaps.

Oak Holiday Cottage

The Oak Holiday Cottage offers a master double gallery bedroom, a twin bedroom and single bedroom, plus an open plan lounge with a bed settee. The cottage also features a large country kitchen, and garden with picnic bench and barbeque. A major feature of Oak Cottage is the large views of the Manifold Valley it offers through a large church style window and the large gallery.

Oak can accommodate up to seven persons.

Hazel Holiday Cottage

The Hazel Holiday Cottage is a two bedroom accommodation with a master double bedroom and a twin bedroom. The lounge has a luxury bed settee thus enhancing sleeping accommodation for up to 6 persons.

Elm Holiday Cottage

The Elm Holiday Cottage has one large bedroom with a four poster double bed and lounge area with luxury bed settee that can be converted into an enclosed bedroom. It can accommodate up to 4 persons.

Cherry Holiday Cottage

The Cherry Holiday Cottage is also a one bedroom facility with one double bedroom. It is an ideal accommodation for a couple. The cottage offers great views and the car park is close to the rear exit.

All the cottages together can accommodate a group of up to 40 persons.
