There are many halls and museums which you can visit, such as Chatsworth House, Blakewell Old House Museum, Haddon Hall, Hardwick Hall, Subury Hall, Eyam Museum and Cromford Mill. As well as many towns and villages that you can visit which include Ashbourne, Buxton, Leek, Matlock & Matlock Bath that offer many interesting activities for you to do this winter.

After a walk in the crisp winter air, there really is nothing more welcoming then our cosy and warm cottages with a crackling coal fire. The local pubs serve gourmet food for you to enjoy. If you decide to stay in, our self-catering cottages are fully equip with an electric hob and cooker, dishwasher, dining table, fully fitted cupboards and all the cutlery and crockery you will need to cook delicious food this Christmas and New Year.

If you’re wanting a more active holiday, the empty roads are much quieter for cycling and walking; as well as many other fun activities for you to do on your Christmas and New Year break. If you’re bringing the family, we have a play area for your children to enjoy.
