This luxury one bedroom cottage is part of the Paddock House Farm Holiday Cottage complex and as such is ideally situated for a memorable stay. The four-poster bed is usually enough to get your romantic stay off with a smile and this luxurious self-catering option will also allow pets to come along. If you fancy yourself as a bit of a Jamie Oliver, check out the fully equipped kitchen complete with a dishwasher, Electric oven, Fridge Freezer and all the rest of the mod cons. For those who have had enough of cooking for the week, why not check out one of the nearby restaurants for a bit of foodie-style pampering? The Michelin star option will appease even the finest of palates. No matter what time of year you feel the need to treat yourselves to the finer things in life, because you can rest assured that this little slice of Derbyshire heaven will be ready and waiting for your booking. The lounge is also a real home from home and you could well spend the most of your break just snuggling up together in front of the 32 inch TV watching one of 100’s of free Sat movies and whatever else takes your fancy. You could invite a few close friends and simply curtain off the lounge area and let them crash out on the comfortable bed settee, but only if you were feeling generous! You can also combine your stay at Elm Cottage with the other five Paddock House Farm Holiday Cottages and they’ll accommodate a total of 40 guests for a group break that you’ll never forget.

• We enjoyed our stay in the lovely Elm Cottage, which was clean, Cosy and very well equipped, the surrounding area was beautiful and great for walking .and even though it was out of season there were plenty of places to visit, lovely pubs close by to get a bite to eat, overall a really relaxing 5days – Brandon Mullally.

• Ideal countryside location for tranquility, access to the Dove Valley, Lathkilldale, Monsaldale, the Manifold Valley, Chatsworth Estate/Hall, Matlock, Bakewell, and Chesterfield. Very cosy cottage, one of six, discretely designed. Well heated when the weather is cold, good carparking. Bring supply for first day or so, the best shopping, we found, was at Bakewell. • Spending a week in ELM Cottage here at Paddock House Holiday Cottages, Alstonefield, Staffordshire. What with the immense beautiful countryside the three main things you will notice about this holiday cottages are;. The awesome quality, the value for money, but the most important is the friendly people and that you feel at home straight away. The next village is just 7 minutes away call Hartington, Derbyshire. It a beautiful quaint looking village full of all you would ever need in a restful or exciting holiday. If your looking for just a long weekend or a few weeks, this is the no brainer.
