Paddock House Farm Holiday Cottages in the Derbyshire Peak District National Park.
Over the last 12 months we have had a number of enquiries about WiFi Internet access in the Derbyshire holiday cottages. Being in a rural location in the heart of the beautiful Peak District National Park the broadband connection we receive by the telephone line is just above the old dial up connection. This as some of you may remember is too slow to share between the cottages. If you can’t remember you use to click on a page then go make a cup of coffee and the page had just about loaded when you returned. This is far from a service I could supply to my customers. Well after many hours of searching and telephone calls we now have found the solution. Paddock House Farm Holiday Cottages has just had installed Tooway Broadband via Satellite. This offers up to 10mbps download which is plenty fast enough to share around all the cottages along with the main farmhouse. The system is not cheap but the only way I can offer you access to the Internet. Over the next few weeks we will be installing the wireless routers in the Holiday Cottages.
There will be a small additional charge for the connection this is to offset the high cost in the monthly subscription. The service is different from the unlimited packages via the telephone lines charged more like Electric and Gas A monthly Standing Charge then Charged by the data downloaded.
We hope to have the works completed in the next 2 weeks so by the beginning of March we should be able to offer the WiFi Internet you all have been requesting.
